Never pay to feed in again.
Is the price you receive negative? Then we automatically dim your solar panels for a while.
For households with a dynamic energy contract.
Insight into your energy. Smart dimming when the grid needs it.
Why Zonnedimmer
Is the price you receive negative? Then we automatically dim your solar panels for a while.
For households with a dynamic energy contract.
You help keep the local grid from overloading and receive € 0.25 for every dimmed kWh.
Currently in ten areas selected by Enexis. Check your address
Sign up online and securely connect your inverter. We take care of the rest.
You are not tied to a contract. If you switch, Zonnedimmer simply keeps working.
We only dim what you would otherwise feed back into the grid. Your panels keep generating what you use at home.
This feature is available with the Zonnedimmer dongle.
How it works
Three steps, and then it runs by itself.
Connect your inverter through the manufacturer’s cloud. Nothing changes to your installation. Then you see live what you generate, what you use yourself and what goes to the grid.
When it is needed, Zonnedimmer automatically turns your panels down for a while. The app shows exactly when and why, and you can always skip it.
You get paid for every dimmed kWh, or you stop paying to feed in. It runs automatically; there is nothing for you to do.
€ 0.25 per kWh: in ten areas selected by Enexis. No more paying to feed in: with a dynamic energy contract.
The app
See your production, your use and every dimming moment.
Why now?
From then on, every kWh you feed in at the wrong moment counts.
± 350 hours
of negative power prices per year
On a fixed price you only get a low payment for feeding in. On a dynamic contract it still earns 7 to 10 cents per kWh over the year, but the price is negative for around 350 hours a year.
