Integrate smart PV into your existing systems
With Zonnedimmer's Smart Solar API, you can easily integrate PV and curtailment insights into your own mobile app or backend systems. Data on gross PV production will also improve forecasting, while the curtailment integration will allow for optimization of intra-day trade and lower imbalance risk.
Standardized REST API
Our secure Smart Solar API provides direct access to:
- Inverter AC power and yield
- Curtailed production estimate (kWh)
- Inverter details
- Locally measured grid voltage and frequency
Via the API, this data is available in real-time (0-10 minutes delay) and historically, and can be easily integrated into e.g. mobile app or forecasting / flex energy management systems.
The API also provides curtailment endpoints to execute curtailment with a 1-2 minute reaction time.
Security
Our SaaS platform is designed conform security-by-design principles, including end-to-end encrypted data exchange and partner-specific API tokens with limited validity.
For communication between our platform and the cloud environments of supported inverter manufacturers, we use specialized grid services connections with enhanced security features.
You can use our platform and the white-label activation flow for PV owners without transferring or storing any customer personal data.
